Cookie Notice
This page covers every visit to Wasaga Beach Casino, on any device, signed in or not. Read on for a simple guide to our cookies and the options you have.
Understanding cookies
1.1 Websites save little files called cookies inside your browser.
1.2 Cookies help a site know your browser again as you browse its pages or return on another day.
1.3 Some cookies vanish as soon as you leave. Others stay for a set time, then expire.
1.4 A cookie can't run programs, and it can't open other files stored on your device.
Allowing marketing cookies
2.1 Marketing cookies tell us if your visit came from a partner site or a campaign.
2.2 They help us keep our messages relevant and stop the same message showing up again and again.
2.3 We only set marketing cookies if you say yes.
2.4 We do not direct marketing at anyone who is taking a break or has self-excluded.
Relying on strictly necessary cookies
3.1 These cookies are required for the site to function. They:
- maintain your session as you move around the site
- protect your account and payments
- let us check your age, confirm your identity and see where you are playing from
- remember your cookie choices
3.2 Because safe operation depends on them, they remain active even when you switch other cookies off.
Accepting third-party cookies
4.1 We do not set all the cookies ourselves. Partners like game providers, payment companies and analytics tools add some of them.
4.2 Every partner handles cookie data under the terms of its own privacy policy.
4.3 We pick partners carefully and only work with companies that treat your data with care.
Managing your cookies
5.1 The very first time you arrive here, a banner appears where you can accept or decline optional cookies.
5.2 Want to switch your choices? Use the link to cookie settings on our site to update them at any time.
5.3 Your browser also gives you tools to stop cookies or wipe them.
5.4 Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop logging in, depositing or playing from working properly.
5.5 Your choices are saved only on the browser and device in use. If you switch devices, you will need to set them again.
Switching on functional cookies
6.1 Functional cookies make your visit smoother. They remember things like:
- your preferred language
- your sound settings
- games you played recently
6.2 These are optional. The site will still function without them, though you might have to set your preferences once more.
Counting with analytics cookies
7.1 With analytics cookies, we can see which pages get visited, how fast each one loads and where errors show up.
7.2 We look at this data as a whole, and it is never used to follow any one person.
7.3 It helps us fix faults and make the site easier to use.
7.4 Analytics cookies are optional, and you can turn them off at any time.
Changing this notice
8.1 Any time we add a new cookie or change how we use current ones, we refresh this page.
8.2 Where an update touches the choices you made, we bring back the cookie banner and ask you to choose again.
8.3 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal details more generally.
